The possibility for romance seemed slim for Lindsey Morse when she brought her mother as her "date" to her best friends wedding. But that changed when she met fellow guest Robert Merrill . The pair hit it off, and at the end of the night, Robert asked Lindsey for her phone number. Despite their geographical distance, Robert and Lindsey developed a serious relationship. After their one-year anniversary, they visited Montreal for a long weekend. That Saturday night, as the couple was dining at a Thai restaurant, the hotel staff transformed their suite with candles, Champagne, and an all-white bouquet of flowers.
